Fibrous protein
A fibrous protein or scleroprotein is one of the three main types of proteins.[1] The others are globular and membrane proteins.[2]
There are many types of scleroprotein, such as keratin, collagen, elastin, and fibroin. Such proteins protect and support. They form connective tissue, tendons, bone matrices[broken anchor], and muscle fibre.
