Summary
Description1896 FA Cup.jpg |
English: The oldest surviving FA Cup trophy, on display at the National Football Museum, Preston. The trophy was used between 1896 and 1910, being an exact replica of the original trophy, which was stolen and never recovered. |

Author |
Unknown (original creator) Oldelpaso (photo) The trophy itself was made by Vaughtons of Birmingham per this, this, this, and this, but no names are recorded of the specific individual craftspeople who worked on it. A couple of sources say that former footballer Howard Vaugton "was commissioned to make the trophy" but he was a director of the company and I do not believe that this is concrete proof that he was the one who literally physically made it. |
