Summary
| Description |
English: 1970 AMC Javelin SST, a pony car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC). This car has AMC's 304 cu in (5.0 L) V8 with automatic transmission and a center console mounted shifter. Finished in classic black with the optional "canopy" black vinyl covered roof and fastback C- pillars. The optional red bodyside stripes also accent this car. The hood has the optional hood with non-functional air scoop, as well as the accessory louvers on the rear window. This car has been upgraded to AMC's 14x7 "Turbocast II" alloy wheels that were available starting with the 1979 model year. The interior is in black and features the "rim blow" steering wheel on an adjustable tilting column, as well as air conditioning. The radio is an aftermarket unit. Picture taken during the car show on Saturday that was part of the the American Motors Owners Association (AMO) annual convention held July 2015 near Cleveland, Ohio. |
