English: Watt type steam engine of the silver mine "Alte Elisabeth", Freiberg, Germany. This engine was built in Germany in 1848 after the design patented by Watt. It was never patented in Germany, the British patents ran out in 1800.
Deutsch: Stehende Einzylinder-Dampfmaschine mit Balancier als Fördermaschine auf dem "Alte Elisabeth"-Schacht der Himmelfahrt-Fundgrube in Freiberg, Deutschland. Die Maschine wurde von der Maschinenfabrik Constantin Pfaff in Chemnitz 1848 nach dem Wattschen Patent gebaut. Sie hatte eine Leistung von 12 PS. Das Wattsche Patent über den separaten Kondensator galt zu keiner Zeit in Deutschland, das britische Patent lief im Jahr 1800 aus. |
