English: The 4th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry saw action during the Spanish-American War, serving primarily in the continental United States. They were mustered into service in Lexington, Kentucky between July 4 and 27, 1898, and then served at Camp Shipp near Anniston, Alabama. The regiment was reassigned several times, ultimately being mustered out of service in Anniston, Alabama on February 12, 1899.
