Description
English: Al Smith call on Secretary of Navy. Former Governor Alfred E. Smith called on the Secretary of the Navy Charles Francis Adams today in Washington to ask for the help of Navy engineers in the construction of a mooring mast and landing platform for transatlantic dirigibles of the 1,100 foot tower of the Empire State Building, now under construction in New York. The former Governor is a Director in Empire State, Inc.
