Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran, in the weekly meeting with a number of families of "martyrs", afternoon Jan 2, 2018, referring to Iranian protests and "the enemies' efforts to damage the Islamic system", he stated: "What prevents the enemies and their hostile actions is the spirit of courage, self-sacrifice, and faith among the people." "In recent events, the enemies of Iran united by using different tools in their disposition, including money, weapons, politics and intelligence, in order to create problems for the Islamic system." آیت الله علی خامنه‌ای رهبر معظم ایران در دیدار هفتگی با شماری از خانواده‌های شهیدان در عصر 12 دی 1396، "عزت و امنیت و پیشرفت ملت ایران" را "مدیون فداکاری و از جان‌گذشتگی شهدا" دانست و با اشاره به اعتراضات رویداده در کشور و آنچه "تلاش دشمنان برای ضربه‌زدن به نظام اسلامی" توصیف نمود، گفت: در قضایای چند روز اخیر، دشمنان ایران با ابزارهای گوناگونِ در اختیارشان از جمله پول، سلاح، سیاست و دستگاه امنیتی هم‌پیمان شدند تا برای نظام اسلامی مشکل ایجاد کنند. او افزود:«من در خصوص این قضایا حرف‌هایی دارم و در وقت آن با مردم عزیزمان سخن خواهم گفت.» |
