English: From the days of
Tri-X 400: Classic wrestling shot of
André the Giant giving his "size 20" boot to
King Kong Bundy. At center-left in the white, three-starred pants is
Big John Studd while standing outside the ring at far-right is
Hillbilly Jim. Referee
Dick Kroll watches from the far left. In this October 21, 1985 tag-team match at
Madison Square Garden, André the Giant and Hillbilly Jim along with manager
Captain Lou Albano (unpictured) were the "face" team (i.e., the "good guys") while King Kong Bundy and Big John Studd and manager
Bobby "The Brain" Heenan (visible under André the Giant's crotch in the background) were the "heel" team (i.e., the "bad guys"). The match ended in a double-disqualification. The kick occurs at 13:55 in
this video recording, 13 minutes 40 seconds after the ring of the bell to start the match (although the fighting erupted before the bell). Color commentary for the television broadcast was provided by
Gorilla Monsoon and
Jesse "The Body" Ventura, who played the parts of the face and heel advocates, respectively.
