Description
English: Social activist and Gandhian Mr Anna Hazare went on fast unto death on Tuesday demanding greater public role and more powers in Anti corruption Bill ( Lok Pal Bill).He mentioned that very weak version of the Bill had been presented eight times to the Parliament by successive Governments during last 42 years but not approved. Hundreds of supporters ,some of them on hunger strike, were sitting with him on a hot summer day in tented area near Jantar Mantar about 1 Kilometer from Indian Parliament House. Many prominent Indians and organizations all over country are supporting demands of Mr Anna Hazare.
