English: Arms of Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent, a son of King Edward I and his second Queen consort Marguerite of France. Blazon: Royal arms of King Edward I (Plantagenet) differenced by a bordure argent. The arms were inherited by his grandson Thomas Holland, 2nd Earl of Kent (the eldest surviving son of Thomas Holland, 1st Earl of Kent, by his wife Joan "The Fair Maid of Kent", a daughter of Edmund of Woodstock, 1st Earl of Kent (by his wife Margaret Wake). NB: the shape of this shield is anachronistic, containing a Tudor arch.
