Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde am 26. Januar 1979 durch Erlass der Exekutive der Deutschsprachigen Gemeinschaft verliehen.
Das Wappen ist abgeleitet vom Wappen der im 15. Jahrhundert ausgestorbenen Adelsfamilie der Herren von Palandt, damalige Herren der Burg Reuland.
English: The arms were officially granted on January 26, 1979. They show a bend taken from the arms of the van Pallandt family, who also expanded and renewed the local castle, which they acquired in 1444. The castle was ruined in 1792. The family acquird the village in the 15th century and played a major role in the development of the area.
