English: Monument in honor of George N. Spanos, Hero of the Ikarian Revolution (Chrisostomos, Ikaria)
George N. Spanos (c. 1872–1912) of Evdilos, killed in a Turkish ambush on 17 July 1912, is honoured as the hero of the Icarian Revolution. His bust, depicting him defiantly, with bandoliers on his body and rifle in hand, may be seen at the memorial established in his honour at the site of his death located in the town of Chrysostomos, Icaria.
