Object history
Français : Renens a adopté ses armoiries en 1926. Depuis 1928, deux versions des armoiries sont utilisées, l'une dite "officielle" et l'autre "usuelle". Alors que la version officielle présente deux pals ondés conventionnelles, la version usuelle présente deux pals ondés en miroir. En 2017 la Municipalité a proposé de conserver définitivement la version usuelle en miroir, telle qu'utilisée sans discontinuité depuis 1928 dans son appareil administratif.
