Deutsch: Das Wappen wurde vom Gemeinderat mit Beschluss vom 1. März 1945 übernommen und zum Gemeindewappen erhoben.
Object history
Deutsch: Das Wappen ist im Stadtsiegel und im Relief über dem Portal des Rathauses aus dem 15. Jahrhundert überliefert. Ferner ist die Wappendarstellung auf einem Grenzstein zu Flums von 1698 und am Chorgestühl der Pfarrkirche um 1700 belegt.
