English: I'm at the Cedars Society in Surrey, British Columbia along with @diannewattsmp and Marshall Smith. Cedars Society is a non-profit organization promoting recovery and improving the lives of individuals and families by providing understanding and knowledge on addictions.
The opioid abuse crisis is affecting Canadians in every part of the country, at every level of society. It was powerful to visit with young people recovering from drug addiction in Surrey. We believe in you, and We must work around kitchen and boardroom tables and in our communities to help Canadians addicted to drugs find recovery.Français : Je suis à la Cedars Society à Surrey, en Colombie-Britannique, avec Dianne Watts et Marshall Smith. La Cedars Society est une organisation sans but lucratif qui encourage la guérison et améliore la vie des gens et des familles par la compréhension et la connaissance de la dépendance.
La crise des opioïdes touche des Canadiens partout au pays, dans toutes les couches de la société. C’était frappant de visiter des jeunes qui guérissent de leur dépendance envers la drogue à Surrey. Nous croyons en vous et nous devons tout mettre en œuvre dans nos communautés pour aider les toxicomanes à guérir. |
