Deutsch: Im 19. Jahrhundert führte die Gemeinde im Schultheißenamtssiegel zwei abgekehrte, gestürzte Hartschiermesser, begleitet von den lateinischen Großbuchstaben A. H., ohne Wappenschild. Es handelt sich dabei zweifellos um das Wappenbild der Grafen von Bissingen-Nippenburg, der Grundherren des Ortes. Im Jahre 1948 legte die Gemeinde ein Wappen fest, das inhaltlich dem heute gültigen bereits entsprach, ohne jedoch förmlich verliehen worden zu sein. Wappen- und Flaggenverleihung durch das Innenministerium erfolgte am 12. April 1965. Die Eingemeindung von Rötenberg am 1. Juli 1974, wohin die Gemeinden Bach und Altenberg bereits am 1. Januar 1969 eingegliedert worden waren, zog keine Veränderung des auf den Gemeindenamen bezogenen, „redenden" Wappens nach sich. |
