Deutsch: Die Figuren des Wappens versinnbildlichen herrschaftsgeschichtliche Zusammenhänge. Die schwarze Pflugschar ist redendes Bild aus dem Familienwappen der Pfluge von Rabenstein, die von 1463 bis 1514 das damalige böhmische Lehen Störnstein-Neustadt in Pfandherrschaft innehatten. Der schräg gestellte rote Adler stammt aus dem Wappen der Herren und späteren Fürsten von Lobkowitz, die den Adler seit einer Wappenmehrung im Jahr 1459 in ihrem Schild führten. Die Lobkowitz waren von 1562 (bzw. 1571) bis 1807 Inhaber der Herrschaft, dann der gefürsteten Grafschaft Störnstein, zu der auch Altenstadt gehörte. |
