Deutsch: Im Wappen werden vor allem die historischen Beziehungen nach Regensburg bildlich dargestellt. Das Hochstift Regensburg und Regensburger Klöster waren wichtige Grundherren im Gemeindegebiet. Heraldisches Abzeichen des Hochstifts und Bistums Regensburg ist der silberne Schrägbalken in Rot. Der Schrägbalken wurde in einen Wellenbalken abgewandelt, um zugleich die Lage der Gemeinde an der Kleinen Laaber zum Ausdruck zu bringen. Der goldene Mühlstein erinnert an die frühere große wirtschaftliche Bedeutung der Mühlen an der Kleinen Laaber. Die Lilie, ein Mariensymbol, verweist auf das Kirchenpatrozinium Mariä Himmelfahrt in Atting. |
