Deutsch: Die Gemeinde hieß bis 1937 Sichersreuth, nahm dann den Namen Alexandersbad an und erhielt 1979 den Zusatz Bad. Im Jahr 1734 wurde die Heilquelle Sichersreuther Sauerbrunnen entdeckt und 1741 gefasst. Unter Markgraf Alexander von Brandenburg-Bayreuth von dem sich auch der neue Ortsname herleitet erfolgte seit 1782 der Ausbau der Badeanlage unter anderem mit dem Bau des Brunnenhauses und des Monopteros, der als Wahrzeichen des Ortes in das Wappen aufgenommen wurde. Die Farben Silber und Schwarz erinnern an die Markgrafen von Brandenburg-Bayreuth, zu deren Territorium das Gemeindegebiet gehörte. Der Wellenbalken repräsentiert den Ort Tiefenbach und steht redend für den Ortsnamen. |
