Object history
Deutsch: Im Jahre 1931 nahm die Gemeinde das Wappen des 1511 ausgestorbenen Ortsadels der Herren von Bernstadt auf. Der aufgerichtete Bär bezieht sich auf den ersten Bestandteil des Gemeindenamens und ist somit eine „redende" Wappenfigur. Das Landratsamt Alb-Donau-Kreis hat die Flagge am 15. Januar 1982 verliehen.
