Object history
Deutsch: Für das Jahr 1924 ist ein Baum, später eine Kirche als Siegelbild von Böhmenkirch belegt. Im Jahre 1957 folgte die Gemeinde einem Vorschlag der Archivdirektion Stuttgart und nahm eine aus Baumstämmen gefügte Kirche in ihr heraldisches Bildkennzeichen auf, das somit im Sinne der alten Schreibung des Ortsnamens „Baumenkirche" zu einem „redenden" Wappen geworden ist. Die Farben Gold und Rot sind die der ehemaligen Herrschaft Rechberg. Das Wappen und die Flagge wurden vom Innenministerium am 4. September 1958 verliehen.
