Deutsch: Die stilisierte Eiche ergibt ein für den Gemeindenamen redendes Bild und weist auf die heute noch teilweise vorhandenen Eichenbestände hin. Der amtliche Ortsname Eichenau wurde der nur 48 Einwohner zählenden Siedlung Im unteren Allinger Moos erst 1907 verliehen. Nach dem Ende des Ersten Weltkriegs 1918 verzeichnete der Ort ein beständiges Wachstum. Bis zur Erlangung der kommunalen Selbstständigkeit am 1. April 1957 gehörte Eichenau zur Gemeinde Alling. 1959 nahm die Gemeinde Eichenau das Wappen und eine Fahne an. |
