Deutsch: Das Haselnussblatt redet für den Namen der Gemeinde, der von hasala, der althochdeutschen Bezeichnung der Haselnussstaude abgeleitet ist. Die drei goldenen Kugeln verweisen als Attribute des heiligen Nikolaus auf das Patrozinium der bedeutenden Rokoko-Pfarrkirche von Höslwang, die Mittelpunkt einer ausgedehnten Pfarrei ist. |
