Deutsch: Das Wappenbild lässt an eine bildliche Umsetzung des Ortsnamens in seiner heutigen Schreibweise denken. Die ursprüngliche Namensform „Heinwiler", wie sie bei der urkundlichen Ersterwähnung des Ortes 1266 begegnet, konnte jedoch bisher nicht gedeutet werden. Siegel führte die ehemals vorderösterreichische, 1806 an Baden gefallene Gemeinde erst seit dem 19. Jahrhundert. Damals zeigten die Farbstempel auf einem Denkmalssockel einen aufgerichteten Löwen, der in seinen Vorderpranken den badischen Wappenschild hält. Der Löwe dürfte ebenfalls dem badischen Staatswappen von 1807 entlehnt sein. Hinter dem Denkmal erscheinen schräggekreuzt Gabel und Rechen. Dieses Motiv sollte auf Wunsch der Gemeinde in das Gemeindewappen aufgenommen werden, das 1904 vom Generallandesarchiv entworfen wurde. Die damals verwendeten „natürlichen" Farben der beiden landwirtschaftlichen Geräte sind jetzt gemäß der heraldischen Farbregel tingiert.
