Deutsch: Aus der Vereinigung von fünf Orten ist am 1. Januar 1975 die Gemeinde Hohenstein hervorgegangen. In ihrem Wappen bezieht sich der Quaderturm auf die Ruine der Burg Hohenstein und damit auf den Gemeindenamen. Die silbernen Dietriche auf rotem Grund sind dem Wappen der Burgherren Kaib von Hohenstein beziehungsweise der ihnen verwandten, dem Gemeindegebiet gleichfalls historisch verbundenen Herren von Speth entnommen. Am 1. August 1977 verlieh das Landratsamt das Wappen samt der Flagge. |
