Deutsch: Während die Hirschstange auf die württembergische Herrschaft hinweist, geht das bäuerliche Symbol der Pflugschar wahrscheinlich auf ein Fleckenzeichen zurück. Es wurde schon vor dem Jahre 1930 in Gemeindesiegeln geführt. Nach der Festlegung der Wappenfarben im Jahre 1951 ging die jetzige Gestalt des Wappens aus einer Verbesserung hervor, die vom Innenministerium am 28. Juni 1957 bestätigt wurde. Das Landratsamt Esslingen hat die Flagge am 20. März 1980 verliehen. |
