Deutsch: Der schräglinke Abtsstab repräsentiert im Gemeindewappen die historischen Beziehungen Hüttisheims zu der Benediktinerabtei Wiblingen. Dieses schon 1194 in diesem Ort begüterte Kloster kaufte 1346 von den Grafen von Kirchberg auch die Vogtei und 1507 den Burgstall von Hüttisheim. Der geteilte Schild in den gegenüber dem Stammwappen des noch blühenden Geschlechts der Freiherren von Freyberg absichtlich ausgetauschten Farben Blau und Silber soll daran erinnern, dass das genannte Kloster das Patronat der Hüttisheimer Kirche von der Herrschaft Bronnen erworben hat, die wohl schon im 14. Jahrhundert und bis 1639 im Besitz der Herren von Freyberg gewesen ist. Das Wappen wurde von der Landesregierung am 12. September 1955, die Flagge vom Landratsamt am 11. Januar 1982 verliehen. |
