Deutsch: Das von Ernst Rößner entworfene Wappen wurde am 3. August 1959 vom bayerischen Staatsministerium des Innern genehmigt. Es basiert auf dem 1502 von Herzog Albrecht IV. von Bayern an den Jachenauer Hubprobst des Klosters Benediktbeuern, Caspar März verliehenen Wappen. Der Schild in Form eines J verweist auf die Initiale des Gemeindenamens.
