Es basiert auf dem 1502 von Herzog Albrecht IV. von Bayern an den Jachenauer Hubprobst des Klosters Benediktbeuern, Caspar März verliehenen Wappen. Der Schild in Form eines J verweist auf die Initiale des Gemeindenamens. |
