Deutsch: Im Jahre 1234 wird der „Milenbach", nach dem der Ort seinen Namen hat, erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Wohl aus zähringischem Erbe erlangten die Fürstenberger die Ortsherrschaft, die sie mit einer Unterbrechung bis 1806 ausübten. So zeigt auch das älteste, aus dem 18. Jahrhundert stammende Siegel von Vogt und Gerichtsstab Mühlenbach das fürstenbergische Wappen mit Adler und Wolkenbord. Der Adler trägt jedoch einen Brustschild mit dem eigentlichen Mühlenbacher Wappen, das das heute noch gebräuchliche Wappenbild zeigt. Im 19. Jahrhundert verwendete man nur noch den Brustschild mit dem für den Ortsnamen „redenden" Wappenbild. 1633 gab es 16 Mühlen im Ort. 1906 wurden die Wappenfarben festgelegt. |
