Deutsch: Ohlsbach ist eine Rodungssiedlung auf Gengenbacher Boden. Seit 1402 gehörte das Dorf zu den Landstäben der Stadt Gengenbach. 1803 wurde Ohlsbach mit dem gesamten städtischen Territorium badisch und 1806 von der Stadt getrennt. Noch 1806 entstand das erste Siegel der Vogtei Ohlsbach, das einen Weinstock, darüber das badische Wappen mit dem Fürstenhut zeigt. Spätere Siegel des 19. Jahrhunderts bringen mit und ohne Wappenschild eine Weintraube als Zeichen für den bedeutenden Weinbau der Gemeinde. Im Jahre 1908 nahm die Gemeinde das vom Generallandesarchiv vorgeschlagene Wappen an. Die Traube greift die Tradition der Siegelbilder auf, der silberne Fisch in Rot spielt auf das Gengenbacher Wappen und damit auf die jahrhundertelange Zugehörigkeit zur Reichsstadt an. |
