Deutsch: Der aus einem blauen Dreiberg wachsende grüne Tannenbaum mit goldenen Zapfen entspricht dem Wappen der Benediktinerabtei St. Veit bei Neumarkt an der Rott, die als Grundherrschaft im Gemeindegebiet von historischer Bedeutung war. Die Taube gilt als Sinnbild des Heilig-Geist-Spitals in Braunau, das durch eine Schenkung der Harskircher 1417 in den Besitz der auf Gemeindegebiet gelegenen Hofmark Rattenbach gelangte und dort bis zur Säkularisation 1803 Grundherrschaft und Niedergericht ausübte. |
