| Object history |
Deutsch: In die Gemeinde Roden wurde 1976 die ehemals selbstständige Gemeinde Ansbach eingeliedert. Roden wird erstmals 1348 urkundlich erwähnt. Der Ortsname weist darauf hin, dass der Ort durch Rodung entstanden ist. Der bewurzelte Baum bringt dies im Wappen zum Ausdruck. Die Rodung ging vom Kloster Neustadt am Main aus, das auch in Ansbach begütert war. An die bis zur Säkularisation 1803 währende Verbindung des Gemeindegebiets zum Kloster erinnert der Großbuchstabe N aus dem Klosterwappen. |
