Deutsch: Die heraldischen Symbole Ähre und Zahnrad verweisen auf die wirtschaftliche Struktur der Gemeinde, die geprägt ist von Landwirtschaft, Industrie und Gewerbe. Der silberne Ort im schwarzen Feld entspricht dem Wappen des Ortsadelsgeschlechts der Ruhstorfer, die schon im 13. Jahrhundert nachweisbar sind und bis zum Aussterben der Familie 1735 die Hofmark Ruhstorf innehatten. |
