Deutsch: Auf Grund eines Vorschlags der Archivdirektion Stuttgart nahm die Gemeinde Sontheim an der Brenz im Jahre 1930 das eigenartige Wappen des ehemaligen Ortsadels der Herren von Sontheim (Suntheim) an, wie es im Wappenbuch des Abts Ulrich von St. Gallen aus dem späten 15. Jahrhundert überliefert ist. Die aus diesem Wappen abgeleitete Flagge wurde vom Innenministerium am 20. September 1957 verliehen. |
