Deutsch: Das an Motiven reiche, 1924 verliehene Wappen entspricht dem auf der Ortsansicht von Michael Wening 1721 abgebildeten Emblem, das man für das frühere Marktwappen hielt. Das vordere Feld zeigt das etwas vereinfachte Wappen der im frühen 19. Jahrhundert ausgestorbenen Familie von Ziegler, die um 1672 Schloss und Markt Tittling erwarb und seit 1700 den Namen von Zieglern und Tittling führte. Die blauen Rauten im hinteren Feld verweisen auf die frühere unmittelbare Ortsherrschaft des wittelsbachischen Herzoghauses und die Zugehörigkeit zum Land Bayern. |
