Summary

Description
English: Septfontaine M.(1995): Large scale progressive unconformities in Jurassic strata of the Prealps S of lake Geneva; interpretation as synsedimentary inversion structures; paleotectonic implications.- Eclogae geol. Helv., 88/3, 553-576. See also www.palgeo.ch/publications. The classical rift derived "tilted blocks" model in a distensive passive margin (Lemoine et coll., Baud et Septfontaine, 1980) of the Briançonnais domain, during middle and late Jurassic, is refuted, A new palinspastic interpretation, based on solid field data, is proposed and should be discussed in modern papers.
