Description
English: Distribution of Arabic before the Rashidun caliphate islamic conquests. The area left white on the map in the south of the peninsula was likely to have been populated by speakers of ancient South Arabian languages. The red hatched areas in Yemen indicate the approximate area of Arabic speaking tribes.
