Description

Happy Main Street Monday to you all! Today we have a fine Lawrence shot of Dublin Street, Carlow, County Carlow. I see some establishments that were once familiar and are now but a memory. That is the real value of the these amazing NLI images, capturing and illuminating the past.

With thanks to today's contributions, it seems likely that we're actually a few years later than the 1890-1900 range. Perhaps after 1901 if the date on the (seemingly spanking-new looking) Provincial Bank of Ireland building is to be believed....
