English: Entamoeba Histolytica captured in peripheral blood between 2 microscope cover glasses after 16 hours. The white region with a dark dot in the center is the nucleus. the dark spots are ingested erythrocytes and the dark region with the white spot in the middle is the last ingested erythrocyte. One Leukocyte is located in the right.
