Español: Escudo de armas de Arauco, Chile. Descripción realizada por la Ilustre Municipalidad de Arauco:
Descripción: Escudo español partido, con las siguientes proporciones: cinco partes de ancho de diestra a siniestras y seis partes de largo de jefe de barba.
1ra. Mitad: En campo de planta (blanco), en palo de copihue de gules (rojo) con tallo de sinople (verde), borduras de sinople (verde). Representando la grandeza de la historia y raza araucana. La bordura de sinople (verde) representa la naturaleza del mundo vegetal autóctono.
2da. Mitad: En campo de plata (blanco), un león de gules (rojo) rampante, coronado de oro (amarillo) representando el león de las armas de España, en recuerdo de la gente hispánica y su contribución a la creación de la nacionalización por la fusión de razas. Corona de Fuerte con muros y torres de oro (amarillo) en recuerdo del Fuerte de Arauco, Fundado en 1551.
