Description
English: U.S. Air Force Convair F-106A-90-CO Delta Dart fighter (s/n 57-2505) of the 101st Fighter-Interceptor Squadron, Massachusetts Air National Guard, takes off with afterburner on a rainy day from Otis Air Force Base, Masschusetts (USA). The 101st FIS flew the F-106A from 1972 to 1987.
The F-106A 57-2505 was retired to the to AMARC as FN0170 on 12 January 1988. It was later converted to a QF-106 (AD204) target drone and shot down by AIM-7M on 28 July 1993.
