Summary

Description Proposed flag of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus in 1983. This flag was agreed by the cabinet but was never used. The current flag was adopted instead in 1984. During the four months of meantime, the Turkish flag was used. (Source for the design: Milliyet newspaper article, 18 November 1983).
