Description
Deutsch: Erstes Wohnhaus von Hermann Hesse in Gaienhofen auf der Halbinsel Höri am Bodensee (Landkreis Konstanz). Nach ihrer Hochzeit wohnte er mit seiner ersten Frau Maria Bernoulli (Mia) in diesem Bauernhaus von 1904 bis 1907 zur Miete, während Scheune und Stall weiterhin bäuerlich genutzt wurden. Das Haus wurde um 1705 erbaut (1783 erstmals urkundlich erwähnt) und ist seit 1993 als Museum öffentlich zugänglich.
English: First house of Hermann Hesse and his first wife Maria Bernoulli (Mia) in Gaienhofen on the Höri peninsula on Lake Constance where they lived from 1904 to 1907. This farm house was built about 1705 and is a public museum since 1993.
