Flaggenbeschreibung
„Die Flagge der Stadt ist dreistreifig in den Farben Rot-Weiß-Rot (Rot-Silber-Rot) im Verhältnis 1:2:1 mit dem Stadtwappen im Mittelstreifen.“[1]

Die Blasonierung dieses Stadtwappens lautet:

„In Rot zwischen zwei silbernen Eichenzweigen mit je zwei Blättern und fünf Früchten und überhöht von einem mehrstrahligen silbernen Stern ein silberner Dreiecksschild mit einem goldbewehrten roten Adler.“[2]
