Description
Español: Iglesia de San Francisco de Valparaíso en 1864, fotografia colodion humedo de Rafael Castro y Ordoñez. Posteriormente, la torre fue demolida y reemplazada por otras edificaciones. El arquitecto Ricardo Larraín Bravo construyó una nueva torre central. Esta es la iglesia que estaba en el barrio Puerto, atrás de la Matriz. Precisamente en la Plazuela San Francisco, que hoy ocupa la Policía de Investigaciones.
