Description
English: John C. Sackett (born 1944) is an American retired businessman and politician. Originally from Huslia, Alaska, Sackett served as a Republican member of the Alaska House of Representatives and Alaska Senate for 18 years. First taking office at age 22, Sackett is the second-youngest member in the history of the Alaska Legislature. Sackett was also an early leader of both the Tanana Chiefs Conference and Doyon, Limited. He received an honorary doctorate from the University of Alaska Fairbanks in 2013.
