La divinité protectrice Juno Sospita , en terre cuite peinte en rouge et noir, était vénérée dans toute l'Italie centrale dans le pays étrusque en tant que gardienne des villes. La divinité porte un casque coloré, avec une crête à damiers, les oreilles et les cornes de chèvre et la branche de palmier stylisée.Les romains se sont appropriés cette divinité étrangère lorsqu'ils ont conquis l'Etrurie.
