Description
Nederlands: Kunstwerk Leo Vroman in Gouda, gemaakt door Jeroen Henneman is een portret uit staaldraad. Op 10 april 2015 zou Leo Vroman 100 jaar geworden zijn. Een gezegde van Leo Vroman was: Ik weet niet of ik de 100 haal, zo niet, vier dat dan toch maar. Ter gelegenheid daarvan werd in de Bibliotheek Gouda, in de voormalige Chocoladefabriek, een Vromannacht georganiseerd met daarbij de onthulling van een portret van Leo Vroman. Zijn afbeelding staat bovenop de Bibliotheek Gouda en voor de bibliotheek vind men informatie over het kunstwerk. Deze informatie staat in een klein plantsoen, oorspronkelijk ontworpen door Jan David Zocher jr.. Het plantsoen heeft in maart 2015, de naam Vromanpark gekregen.
