Captions

Archduchess Maria Antonia of Austria, the later Queen Marie Antoinette of France, at the age of 16 years. The pastel portrait was drawn in Versailles and then sent to Austria to her mother, Empress Maria Theresa. Painted by Joseph Kranzinger.
