English: Description from Boney 2000, p. 131: "The first woman undergraduate with her diploma, 1919. Mary E. Creswell, a graduate of the State Normal School in Athens, took science courses at the University of Georgia and became one of the first women in the U.S. Extension Service. In 1918, she was made head of the new Division of Home Economics at the A&M College, and the following year she received her own division's first B.S. in home economics."
